People come to college looking for many different things. But deep down, many of us are looking for the same thing in both college and life. What we are really searching for is friends (a community to belong to), fun (enjoyment of life), and faith (something to believe in). We are confident that you can find what you are looking for in Challenge.

Find Friends, Fun, and Faith in Challenge

We are not made to do life on our own. God made us for relationships with him and others. It is how we flourish! College is a season of quickly shifting relationships and it can be difficult to build deep connections and friendships when you switch classes every semester and people graduate and move away every year. That is why we facilitate the building of a deep community in Challenge. Our weekly meetings and special events are intentionally designed to help you build deep friendships with other students who want to grow in faith with you! Students from all backgrounds and walks of life are welcomed and wanted in the Challenge community. You don’t have to change yourself to be accepted. Just like Jesus, we want you as you are! You will especially experience this value of community by getting involved in weekly small group Bible studies, participating in discussion groups at Challenge large group meetings, staying late after Challenge to enjoy time with friends, and by coming as much as you can to special events and conferences!

Finding Friends

College shouldn’t only be about studying and working. This is a time to discover how to balance the responsibilities of adulthood while enjoying every moment as much as you can! Challenge provides opportunities to make fun memories at our various events, after-Challenge hangouts, conferences, and trips. We also go deep into what really brings us joy and how we can find true joy in life with Jesus. During your time in Challenge, you will be presented with radical and exhilarating challenges for life. If you stay involved and take these challenges to live all-in for God, you will learn to enjoy your life more than ever before.

Finding Fun

We place our faith in Jesus. In Challenge you will learn what that means and why we have made this life-transforming and life-giving decision. You will learn what makes Jesus a trustworthy person to give your life to and have a space to ask questions and investigate whether this is a decision you want to make for your life. Challenge provides both opportunities to grow for students who are committed to following Jesus as well as opportunities to explore doubts and questions for those who are not sure about what they believe. No matter where you are at in your faith journey, you can explore matters of spirituality, religion, and Christianity with us!
